Midweek Worship

Nathan Milazzo will be leading prayer tomorrow evening starting at 6:30 PM.  Snacks will be provided at 6:00 PM.  The Children's Ministry and Preschool Ministry will begin at 6:30 PM.

Discovering Membership

Tomorrow on Wednesday, February 8th we will have Discovering Membership at 6:30 PM in the orange room downstairs.  This is a great time to learn more about BCC, and ask questions in a casual environment.  Childcare will be provided.

Made to Crave

Ladies, don't forget that tomorrow we will be starting the new Bible Study, "Made to Crave."  See you tomorrow at 6:30 PM in the Student Center.

Community News 2/7/17

The Elders are thankful to announce the selection of Mark Hunnicutt as the next Senior Pastor for Brevard Community Church.  Mark is a native of Henderson County and has most recently served in ministry in Dover, Ohio.  A full bio for Mark and Cheryl Hunnicutt is available at the church office. 

There will be three opportunities to meet Mark and Cheryl during the following dates and times:

2/15  6:30pm – 7:30pm – Wednesday mid-week worship.  Mark will be sharing his testimony, life journey, and vision.                    

2/16  7:30am – 9:00am - Thursday morning coffee before work

2/17  12:00 noon – 1:30pm - Friday drop-in during lunch break with light snacks

Pending a vote of the active members, Mark will begin his ministry here at Brevard Community Church on Monday, March 13 and will preach his first sermon on Sunday, March 26.

Votes from the active members of Brevard Community Church will be collected after the first worship service and after the second worship service on February 19, 2017. You must be present to vote.

Men's Fellowship Breakfast

This Saturday, February 4th -- 7:30 AM, we will will meet for our monthly men's breakfast at Mayberry's Restaurant.  Come and enjoy a morning with prayer, hot breakfast, and God's Word.

Super Bowl Party

Bring your family and friends to watch the Super Bowl in the worship center on Sunday, February 5th at 5:30 PM.  We will provide popcorn, peanuts, and beverages.  Please bring a Super Bowl snack with you to share.

Sanctity of Life 

Don't forget to fill those baby bottles with donations for the Women's Center of Brevard.  This center supports women facing a crisis pregnancy.  Return all bottles and donations this Sunday, February 5th, to the preschool desk downstairs.  Thanks so much for your generosity.

Ladies, please join us on Wednesday, February 8th as we embark on a journey to find the missing link between a woman's desire to be healthy and the spiritual empowerment necessary to make this happen. The Bible study will meet every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from February 8th through May 10th at 6:30 PM in the student center.  For more information or to register email Metta Redding at mredding96@gmail.com.

Ladies, please join us on Wednesday, February 8th as we embark on a journey to find the missing link between a woman's desire to be healthy and the spiritual empowerment necessary to make this happen. The Bible study will meet every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from February 8th through May 10th at 6:30 PM in the student center.  Childcare will be provided.  Sign up for childcare by January 29th.  For more information or to register email Metta Redding at mredding96@gmail.com. 

Connect Group

This Connect Group is a great opportunity for those that are wanting to meet and connect with others at BCC while going through a Bible Study.  It meets on Sundays at 4 PM for 11 more weeks.   For details, email Reggie Nichols at nichols.reggie@gmail.com.

Switch Middle and High School Groups

Small Groups will resume on Sunday, January 22nd.  Students will meet from 5 to 7 PM in the student center for a light meal, games, time in the Word, discussion, and encouragement. 

Mom to Mom

Mothers, take time out of your busy day for fellowship and time in the Word.  Moms will meet this Thursday at 9:30 AM in the blue room.  Childcare will be provided.

Are you looking for a way to meet and connect with other believers at BCC while going through a Bible study?  You might want to give our new connect group a try.  This connect group will meet every Sunday at 4 PM beginning this Sunday and lasting for 12 weeks. Brevard Community Church will be operating on a normal schedule on Sunday, January 8th.  First Worship will begin at 9:30 AM and second Worship will start at 11:00 AM. Please stay warm and safe.

Lottie Moon and Missions Offering

Thank you for giving over $28,599 to missions and Lottie Moon.  This will continue to take the Gospel around the corner and around the world.  You can still give to missions.

The men will be showing their support to local business in the area by meeting at Mayberry's on Saturday, January 7th at 7:30 AM.  A hearty breakfast will be served.  Enjoy this morning by encouraging one another.
