Midweek Worship
Please spend time with friends and family tomorrow evening.  There will be no Midweek Worship.  

New Year
In observance of the New Year, the church office will be closed on Friday, January 1st.  

Men's Fellowship Breakfast
There will not be a Men's Fellowship Breakfast this Saturday.  Please enjoy this particular morning with friends and family. 

The Gospel Project, Part II
The Genesis Part I Study has just finished, and the journey through Exodus will begin this Sunday during First Worship at the Welcome Street House.  For more information about the study, please visit www.gospelproject.com or talk to Trudy Pierron, Sheila Alewine, or Hope Kelly. 

Year End Giving
We are so grateful for your support throughout 2015.  Your faithfulness to give has allowed us to minister to a variety of individuals and groups.  As we near the end of 2015, you still have the opportunity to "catch-up" or "exceed" your tithes for 2015.  Remember, you cannot out-give God.  Because of your faithfulness, we will continue to see God do great things in 2016.  

Membership
If you want to become a member or learn more about BCC, come to the Membership Class on Wednesday, January 6th at 6:30 PM in the blue room downstairs.  Light refreshments will be served and childcare will be provided.

Marriage Ministry Class
Marriage Ministry Class will not meet this Sunday.  It will resume on January 10th.

Life Group Leader Meeting
If you are interested in leading a Life Group or are already a Life Group Leader, please plan to attend the Life Group Leader Meeting on Sunday, January 17th at 12:30 in the Worship Center.  Lunch and childcare will be provided.  RSVP to shannon@brevardcommunity.org.

Christmas Eve
The Christmas Eve Worships will be this Thursday.  The first worship begins at 3:00 PM, and the second worship begins at 5:00 PM.  The worships are identical.  The children will have an opportunity to come up on stage and hear the Christmas Story during each worship.  Childcare will be provided for children under 2 years of age during both worships.

Switch Middle School, Switch High School, Merge College, and the Adult Bible Study Ministries will not meet this Sunday.  The Marriage Ministry class will not meet this Sunday or on January 3rd.  The Marriage Ministry Class will resume on January 10th.

Christmas Dinner
Invite your friends and family to the Christmas Dinner tomorrow night at 6:00 PM.  We will provide the meat, but ask that you bring 2 or 3 side dishes.

Hope and Healing
Hope and Healing is for anyone or everyone who has a hurt, habit, or hang-up that has affected and prevented you from receiving the fullness of God's peace and grace.  Both men and women are welcome to attend this safe and confidential environment every Tuesday night at 6:30 PM beginning tonight in the student center.

Switch Middle School and High School Party
The Middle School Christmas Party will be this Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.  It will be held at the Frady's House.  The High School Christmas Party will be this Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.  It will be held at the Myers' House.  There will be games, fun, and food. 

Ladies Christmas Cookie Exchange
Bring 2 dozen of your favorite cookies this Saturday, December 12th to the Worship Center at 10:00 AM.  BCC's very own Act Up will perform "One Starry (not so silent) Night."  There will be worship, Christmas caroling, and door prizes!  Childcare will not be provided.

Quality Time
Pastor Chris is looking for someone to spend time or play games with kids and teens from impoverished homes on Sunday afternoons from 3:00 to 4:30 PM.  If you are interested, please call Pastor Chris at 884-5932.

Roofing of the Student Center

Thanksgiving Communion
We will gather together this evening at 6:30 PM to give thanks and praise to Jesus Christ for dying on the cross for our sins.  Please enjoy spending time with friends and family this Wednesday.

Church Office Closed
The church office will be closed this Thursday and Friday in observance of Thanksgiving.

Arrangements for Mrs. Bessie Hollingsworth
Mrs. Bessie's Memorial will be this Friday at 2:00 PM in the Worship Center here at BCC.  The receiving of friends and family will be immediately following. 

Operation Christmas Child
BCC generously donated at least 150 shoe boxes!  Please pray the shoe boxes will bless the children and change their lives.

Daylight Savings Time ends at 2:00 AM on Sunday, November 1st.  Don't forget to set your clocks back before you go to bed this Saturday.

Communion Next Sunday
Come prepared Sunday to celebrate how Christ gave Himself to give us a better way of life and a new start.  It is important to stop and remember the sacrifice that Christ made for us.

Appalachian Coalfield Ministry
Our 2015 VBS Mission's Offering enabled us to purchase backpacks.  You have provided items to put in the backpacks.  We invite you to assemble the Appalachian backpacks this Sunday at 4:00 PM in the Worship Center.  The backpacks will then be sent to the Appalachian area to bless the children and their families. 

When All Plans Fail
Dr. Paul Williams will be in the Worship Center this Sunday at 6:30 PM to present information from his book "When All Plans Fail."  He will explain what you need to know and do to be prepared for the worst with hope.  Drawing on 30 years' medical missions experience in more than 100 countries he teaches you how to be an anchor in the storm for your family, your church, and in your community.

Switch Middle School Outing
The middle school students are invited to the Fun Depot this Saturday.  Students will meet at the student center at 4:00 PM to go to the Fun Depot.  They will return to the student center at 8:00 PM for pickup.  The cost is $27 per student.  Dinner will be provided.  For more information email brent@brevardcommunity.org.

Solemn Assembly
There will be a Solemn Assembly during both Worships this Sunday.  This will be a Worship you will not want to miss. 

Reception for Pastor Brad

Foster Care Class

Baby Dedication
Baby Dedication will be held on October 18th during both Worships.  If you would like to dedicate your child to the Lord, please email Tracy at tracy@brevardcommunity.org.

Blood Drive
Save a life by donating your blood.  The American Red Cross will be here on Monday, September 28th from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM in the blue room.  To make an appointment, visit www.redcrossblood.org.  Type in 28712 beside Find A Blood Drive.  Click on Brevard Community Church and choose a donation time.  Donors can also call 1-800-REDCROSS to make an appointment.

Community News 9/8/15


Life Group Connect
Tomorrow we will have a Life Group Connect evening.  We will begin with Worship songs at 6:30 PM and then have a short teaching time on why Life Groups and Sunday mornings are vital to the mission here at BCC.  This will be followed by a couple of testimonies.  We will end the evening with a meet and greet time where we can engage with groups to ask questions and connect with other groups.  Snacks will be provided at 6:00 PM.  Preschool Ministry and Children's Ministry will start at 6:30 PM.

Switch Middle School and High School Ministry
Switch Middle School Ministry will begin meeting tomorrow evening at 6:30 PM in the student center.  Switch Middle School and High School Ministry will begin Small Groups next Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the student center.  This will be a night with food, fun, and time in the Word.

Ladies' Breakfast
Join us for Part III of How To Share Your Faith In Conversation this Saturday at 8:00 AM in the student center.  Worship music will be led by Ginger Morgan and Pastor Alan Perry will lead you in a group discussion.  Bring a breakfast dish to share.

Women's Bible Study
You are invited to the Jeremiah Bible Study by Melissa Spoelestra.  In this six week study you will examine God's words of instruction to His wayward people through the prophet Jeremiah. Starting September 18th the ladies will meet every Friday from 9:30 to 11:30 AM here at BCC. Books costs $11.00 and childcare is available. Sign up at the back of the Worship Center this Sunday or email Carissa Sellers for more information at cjsellers@comporium.net.

Ladies, Save The Date
The Christmas Tea is returning on December 12th.  If you are interested in helping to plan the Christmas Tea this year, or if you would like to decorate or host a table for 8 ladies, please contact Metta Redding at mredding94@gmail.com.  Planners are also needed for a variety of tasks.  Check out the Facebook page, BCC Ladies Ministry for photos of table decorations from the past.

Community News 9/1/15


Solemn Assembly
Join us tomorrow evening at 6:30 PM as Pastor Todd leads us in a Solemn Assembly.  Experience the presence of the Lord and community with the saints as we seek the Lord together.  Snacks will be provided at 6:00 PM.  The Children's Ministry and Preschool Ministry will begin at 6:30 PM.

Men's Fellowship Breakfast
The Men's Ministry encourages men of all ages to join them for a breakfast and an inspiring message.  The Men's Fellowship Breakfast will be held this Saturday at 7:30 AM in the student center.  

Church Office Closed
In observance of Labor Day, the church office will be closed next Monday on September 7th.
