Community News 2/2/16

Family Movie Night
Tomorrow evening we will be showing "War Room" in the Worship Center from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.  Regarding the title of the film, movie director Kendrick says, "We called it 'War Room' because, like the military, we should seek God for the right strategy before going into combat. By combat, I mean daily issues we face in our culture."  This movie will inspire, convict, and move us.  Popcorn will be served.  Childcare will be provided.  The middle school students are encouraged to watch this movie with their family.

Switch Super Bowl Party
Middle and high school students are invited to the Recreation Department this Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.  Invite your friends to an evening filled with fun, food, and games.

Men's Fellowship Breakfast
Start your morning off right with encouraging words, scripture, and great food.  Men of all ages will meet in the Student Center at 7:30 AM this Saturday.

Life Group Connect
Make plans to attend Life Group Connect on Wednesday, February 10th at 6:30 PM.  This will be a wonderful opportunity to meet individuals in Life Groups and hear testimonies of how Life Groups have brought others closer to Christ.

Enrichment Activities
Hunter Compton, a boy in our church with unique health issues, cannot attend a full day of school because of those issues.  In order to have a half day schedule he must miss enrichment activities at school such as music and art.  They are looking for someone who can come to their home and offer these kinds of activities a few times a month.  If you would like to help or would like to know more, please contact Renee Compton at 553-4900 or Pastor Chris at 884-5932.
