Brevard Community Church, in partnership with the Transylvania County Library, presents the first in a series, Community Conversations, a series of dialogue about important issues within our community. This evening on Tuesday, October 24th, the first in the series will focus on Suicide Prevention. This event will include a short documentary, and host a conversation-based opportunity where concerned parents and community members can learn the risk factors and warning sides for suicide, and how to help. Join us today at 6:30 PM at the Transylvania County Library, Rogow Room.
Participate every Wednesday at BCC's Care Network. Enjoy dinner by donation at 6:00 PM tomorrow evening from Lola's and at 6:30 PM we will serve the emotional, spiritual, and physical needs of those who find themselves in difficult situations.
Beginning @ Brevard
Join us on Thursday, November 2nd at 6:45 PM in the auditorium or on Sunday, November 5th following either morning service in the brown house, which is the building next to the auditorium. B@B gives you a chance to get familiar with WHO we are, WHERE we're headed, WHY it's important, and HOW you can get in on it. It is the perfect place to begin a journey to MOVE into a more dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ. A light meal will be provided and kids are welcome to attend. Register online at http://brevardcommunity.org/#/events.
Operation Christmas Child
The Samaritan's Purse project, Operation Christmas Child, collects shoebox gifts-filled with fun toys, school supplies and hygiene items-and delivers them to children in need around the world to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way. For many of these children, the gift-filled shoebox is the first gift they have ever received. Join us this year as we partner with Operation Christmas Child. Fill a box, and return it to BCC by Sunday, November 12th. For more information, visit www.samaritanspurse.org/occ.
