ECLIPSE August Series: Misconceptions That Dim The Light
How often have you misjudged someone?  We all do it.  We assume something about a person based on what we've heard, or what we've seen.  It's not until we really listen and get to know them that we realize just how wrong we've been.  We do the same thing with God sometimes.  We misjudge His character because of something we've heard or maybe because it seems like our prayers have gone unanswered.  When we let our misconceptions about God eclipse our view of Him, dimness grows and light fades.  In the month of August, we will turn the light on to three essential truths about God and His character that will enable us to get to know Him better.

Beginning @ Brevard
B@B is offered to give you a chance to hear firsthand from a pastor the vision and values of BCC.  On Thursday, August 3rd at 6:30 PM or on Sunday, August 6th after both services in the back of the auditorium, you can get familiar with WHO we are, WHERE we're headed, WHY it's important, and HOW you can get in on it.  So, if you're "beginning at Brevard," or desiring to make a next move, B@B is the perfect place to begin moving into a more dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ.  B@B is kid friendly.

Ladies' Campus Group
Ladies, you have the opportunity to read and discuss Ann Voskamp's new book, "The Broken Way" starting on Thursday, August 10th in the student center from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.  Please purchase your book online or at Life Way Bookstore.  For questions, email Liz Fleming at lfleming@phri.com.  This group will last for four weeks.  Childcare will not be provided.
