Community News 5/2/17

Care Network
Each Wednesday we will have a dinner by donation at 6:00 PM and at 6:30 PM Care Network Training will begin in the Auditorium.  Care Network Training will help us learn to serve the emotional, spiritual, and physical needs of those who find themselves in difficult situations. Come discover how you can use your spiritual gifts to care for this church and community. Dinner by Donation will be brought in from Sagebrush tomorrow evening.

Beginning @ Brevard
B@B is for first time guests, individuals interested in membership or anyone wanting to know more about BCC.  It is designed to give you a chance to hear the vision and values of BCC. You can get familiar with WHO we are, WHERE we are headed, WHY it's important, and HOW you can get in on it.  It will be this Thursday evening at 6:30 PM before the early weekend service and this Sunday after both services in the brown house.

National Day of Prayer
The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday in May inviting people of all faiths to pray.  Transylvania County and The City of Brevard will have National Day of Prayer at Temple Baptist Church this Thursday, May 4th at 12:00 PM. Don't forget to bring a lawn chair.  If it rains, they will meet inside the church.

Men's Fellowship Breakfast...On The Road
Instead of meeting at BCC on Saturday, May 6th, we will be serving at the Legacy of Hope run in downtown Brevard, NC.  To sign up, go to inheritanceofhope.org.  Click on Volunteering and Sponsorship and click on the link.  Every 1 serve 1.

Legacy of Hope Run
The Legacy of Hope Run is only 4 days away!  If you would like to serve this Saturday, please email heather@inheritanceofhope.org.  Course volunteers (6-11 AM), kids' area volunteer (6:30-11 AM), and a first aid volunteer (7-11 AM) are still needed.
