Community News - 7/16/13

Midweek Prayer Time Tomorrow Evening!
"One of the great uses of Twitter and Facebook will be to prove at the Last Day that prayerlessness was not from lack of time." - John Piper
Take time out of your evening to join us tomorrow for our Midweek Prayer time at 6:30 PM. Come gather for a time to get still before the Lord and present our requests to God. You don't want to miss this sweet time of supplication and thanksgiving.

Support Our Missionaries in West Virginia!

Dewey and Kathy Aiken, our Appalachian Regional Missionaries will be holding a Back-to-School Block party in War, West Virginia on August 1. War is one of the poorest areas in W. Va. One of the needs is bottled water. You can help meet this need by dropping off some bottled water @ Tank's Tees located directly across from Pisgah Forest Post Office. If you would prefer to make a financial contribution you may do so. Just mark the check for War, W.Va. Block Party.

Two Upcoming Missions Opportunities:
Cambodia: September 11th - 21st. Cost: $1,000 plus airfare
Join us as we travel to Cambodia to train pastors and churches in Conversational Evangelism/T4T. We will be partnering with churches that Bernie and Nan Dykhouse have connections with in Phnom Penh, Kampong Cham and Siem Reap.
Southeast Asia: November 9th - 26th. Cost: $1,500 plus airfare
Journey with us to share the Good News in  two closed countries. In the first country, we will be prayer walking and looking for "persons of peace" as we trek the mountains and rice paddies of this beautiful country. In the second country, we will engage folks with spiritual conversations which lead to the Gospel with the majority People Group which has been described as "impossible to believe in Jesus."
Contact Alan or Shannon if interested in either of these opportunities!
